I'm Welsh, as you might have deduced from my name, but have lived in England for most of my adult life. I became a Christadelphian over 40 years ago, having been brought up as a Welsh Methodist. That change came about (in Manchester) when I was challenged to read the Bible for myself and tried to find passages of Scripture that supported the views I had previously held - such as God's kingdom being a state in the hearts of men, going to heaven at death and the Trinity. I discovered that the true Bible teaching is centred on the Return of Jesus to earth to set up God's Kingdom here. And it came as a real surprise to know that the Kingdom had previously existed on earth and will be restored when Jesus returns as King.
